Hospice Care is our most supportive level of care, and is for patients who have been told by their doctor that they have an illness with a prognosis of six months or less. There is nothing that can be done to improve their condition, but we can help improve your quality of life.
Our hospice patients are assigned a nurse that will visit you at home to make sure you are receiving hands-on care. We provide all wound care supplies, hospital beds, oxygen, concentrators and things that the insurance companies won't cover - like a side table.
Your care team will also includes a certified nursing assistant to help you with personal care tasks such as bathing, hair care, nail care, light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Remember, your terminal illness does not mean your quality of life has to suffer. We are here to make sure you live the rest of your life as pain-free and comfortable as possible.
