Palliative Care

Palliative, or transitional care, is for people who need care, but are having a really hard time getting to that care. It is not hospice. This type of care is intended for people who need care, but are having a hard time getting to help – often times because they feel too bad to get out of the house. People who need help but don’t meet eligibility criteria for hospice may want to consider the palliative option. Care includes a doctor that will visit you in your home, and a social worker to help navigate the twists and turns of your insurance.
